Calvin "Ted" L. Langford
Ted passed away at 88 years old. He was born in Exeter, NH on March 9th, 1937.
He graduated from Raymond High School. He joined the Navy October 18th, 1955, and was in service until September 1959. He was a plank owner and set first watch on the USS Saratoga CVA60. He also served on the USS Coral Sea CVA43.
He married Esther M. Brown of Tallapoosa, GA, October 11th, 1958. They had four children. He owned and operated coin op laundromats in Florida, Vermont and three locations in New Hampshire for many years. He was a member of the Shriners of New Hampshire and the Masons of Florida for 50+ years. He was a member of the Legion and AM Vets.
He loved four-wheeling, classic cars, NASCAR, his family, and especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ted and Esther spent winters in Edgewater, FL and summers in Columbia, NH.
Ted was preceded in death by his wife, Esther, his siblings, Beverly, Frank and Donald ("Joe") and is survived by his children, Kim (Scott) Mincher, Kay (Brett) Williams, Ted (Erin) Langford and Todd (Kris Sherman) Langford and his sisters, Marylyn and Anita. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and many dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
