Marie R. Glenn, 90, of Jerome, Idaho, passed away on 7 February 2026 surrounded by family. She was born on 4 September 1935 in Ucon, Idaho as the 8th child of 9 to Oliver Leroy Robinson and Julia Lott.
After graduating from Bonneville High School in Idaho Falls, Idaho she continued her education in Nursing and worked as a register nurse throughout Southern Idaho for over 30 years. Marie had many hobbies which included singing, playing the piano, gardening, sewing, reading, travel, family history, camping and many more. When able, road trips to West Yellowstone to watch summer plays and visiting family all over the U.S were some favorites activities. She really enjoyed musicals and seemed to always have a song on her mind. One of her favorites to sing on sunny mornings was “There is Sunshine in My Soul Today.” She enjoyed dancing at church socials where she met her loving husband Don. They were married 1 August, 1986 in Paul, Idaho and later solemnized in the Boise, Idaho Temple on 1 August, 1990.
She is survived by her husband, Donald W. Glenn of 39+ years; children, G. Kent (Marolee) Morris, Virginia Morris, David Morris, Marianne Morris, and Chrystine (Conan) Heimdal; step children, Daniel (Joan) Glenn, Tony (Rosie) Glenn, Rebecca Wing, Norman (Sabrina) Glenn, Patrick (Beth) Glenn, Michael Glenn, Martin (Dave) Glenn, Gary (Ashley) Glenn, Timothy (Niki) Glenn; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and other extended family members.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters.
A viewing will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Monday, 16 February 2026, at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln, Jerome, Idaho. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, 17 February 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3rd Ward, 825 East Avenue B, Jerome, Idaho. Grave dedication will conclude at the Jerome Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
