Carolyn Brown Obituary

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dr carolyn Brown. We were so fortunate to have had Carolyn as my OB and George as my boys pediatrician. They are both the reason for the survival of my premies. Carolyn followed the ambulance I was in ( in the middle of a snowstorm)to anchorage in case I delivered in route. George called Dustin his marathon baby as he checked in on him in the providence NICU in the middle of his run. We were so grateful for their dedication to their professions. I could not have asked for better physicians. Such kind down to earth people. They will both be missed.

carolyn Brown was a unique, gifted, thoughtful soul. I cherished my time with her talking about all aspects of life, from growing up in the south, to living in Alaska. I will greatly miss her.

Well I am guessing that heaven got a bit louder when my mom (Marilyn Cupp Chatham) saw that her college roommate and dearest friend had arrived! I´m sorry for your loss. Even though I was never met her in person, we had come to know each other over the past 2 years through our emails after my mom passed away. I was happy to mail her some college letters and keepsakes that my mom had saved. I will be thinking of you all.

carolyn was a cherished member of our community. A courageous social activist, she inspired her friends and neighbors to speak out about the need for change, especially in the area of health care insurance for all. I loved her intelligent ideas and the way she reached out to others with care and kindness. I miss my friend, such a deeply committed, dedicated servant of humanity.

I had the honor of knowing George and Carolyn. I was sad to hear that she has passed, but grateful for their reunion in heaven. I will cherish the conversations we had and time we had together. She was a brilliant woman who never stopped learning and reading. What an impact they have had in Africa. Sending my deepest condolences to her family. I am grateful to have known such a beautiful soul.

So sorry for your loss. Just yesterday I was telling my husband about both her and George, what wonderful doctors they were.I went to her and took my sons to George.

Dr c brown was the most wonderfully compassionate doctor. Her knowledge and compassion during my first pregnancy saved my life. She will never be forgotten.

I was a patient of Dr. Carolyn Brown in the early 1980's in Palmer. She delivered my first 3 children (along with her husband Dr. George Brown). She did a very fine and excellent job. Thank you so much Dr. Carolyn.
