Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids for Charles "Charlie" R. Fuchs, age 75, who passed away Feb. 7, 2026, at The Good Shepherd Community. A Rice Legion Color Guard service tribute will take place at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will be 1 p.m. Feb. 17 at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls.
Charles was born Aug. 6, 1950, to Raymond and Catherine (Kinney) Fuchs in Pipestone. He was a veteran who proudly served his country in the Air Force. Charlie married Patricia Asfeld Aug. 23, 1980. He worked for the post office, starting as a clerk and becoming a city courier. He then became the union president and later went into maintenance and stayed in that position until he retired. Charles was a member of Rice Legion. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, and would always stop at a Harley Davidson Store if he saw one to get a T-shirt.
Charlie is survived by his wife Patricia; children, Christopher (Jenna), Ashley (Josh) Lindquist and Andrew; grandchildren, Hadley, Scott and Lorenzo; siblings, Richard (Cathy) Fuchs, Diane Gregory and Betty (Chris) Ingram; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Jim.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, 15550 MN-115,
Little Falls, MN 56345.
