Daniel Lester Brosious, 77, of Germansville, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, at his residence. He was the husband of Betty L. (Snyder) Brosious, to whom he was married 36 years. Born in Allentown, October 9, 1948, Daniel was the son of the late Charles Lamar Brosious and Joanne H. (Lasso) Dembow. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Daniel was employed at Tyler Pipe Co., formerly of Macungie as an equipment operator, for 17 years before retiring. Prior to that, he worked at Just Born Candy in Bethlehem, and the former Days Inn in South Whitehall Township, as a shuttle driver. He was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors: In addition to his wife; sons, Daniel L. Shook of Alburtis, Randall L. Brosious of Illinois; daughter, Joanne M. Granner of Wind Gap; stepdaughter, Christine A. Snyder of Germansville; stepson, Robert A. Snyder of Bally; grandson, Josh; predeceased by a daughter, Tammy Shook, stepdaughter, Joanne M. Snyder, and stepson, Richard A. Snyder.
Service: A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Military honors will be held at the conclusion of the service.
